Pandav, an iPhone developer, has glimpsed iPhone model usage for an as-yet not available iPhone version: 3,1.
iBART, the app developed by Pandav, picked up references for 3,1–the latest iPhone, 3GS, is “2,1.”
Rumours are that Apple commenced tests on iPhone 3GS eight months prior to launch and, at that time, similar usage findings were reported.

So today Telus announced that they would match Rogers pricing for the iPhone 3GS 16GB and 32GB for new customers (and some lucky qualifying hardware upgrade Rogers customers who got these prices): $200 and $300, respectively.
