Pandav, an iPhone developer, has glimpsed iPhone model usage for an as-yet not available iPhone version: 3,1.
iBART, the app developed by Pandav, picked up references for 3,1–the latest iPhone, 3GS, is “2,1.”
Rumours are that Apple commenced tests on iPhone 3GS eight months prior to launch and, at that time, similar usage findings were reported.
So don’t hold your breath just yet, but there may be a faster, increased storage, better camera, better featured iPhone just around the corner–if the corner is half a year into the future, at least.
