I tried out a couple more games from the App Store. Games seems to be my favorite type of apps so far. I’m still looking for that one productive app that I will use on a daily basis.
I found one interesting game called Chopper. It sort of looks like the old dos game Gorilla and some other Gorilla type game for Atari or something like that if I remember correctly. The preview in the App Store may look a little funny, but this is a decent game. It costs $7.99. I would say it’s more worth something like $3.99 or $4.99 but it is alright nonetheless. There are 60 levels. It starts out beyond easy and begins to get harder and harder as you go along. I think I’m on level 6 or 7 right now. The object of the game is to rescue the hostages or the stranded people, whatever you want to call them, and to not get shot down by the enemies while trying to kill them yourself.
After spending $7.99 for it (I know this is starting to add up), I noticed another game in the App Store that looked like it was similar to Chopper but it was free. Immediately I thought I made a mistake by spending 8 bucks on Chopper. This game is called Apache Lander. It finally downloaded after it seemed to crash my iPhone 2 or 3 times. I started playing and immediately I knew this game totally sucked. Good thing it was free. Basically what you have to do is land your helicopter on the helipad and save gas at the same time. This game is impossible and a waste of time, don’t bother with it.

Apache lander is not impossible…it’s a challenge but it’s definitely not impossible. It’s not THAT fun but the challenging aspect makes it more enjoyable once you get the hang of it. Sorry, ‘don’t bother with it’ is bad advice.

For me, it’s a big waste of time and a poor game. That’s just my opinion.

I think appache lander is also impossible but if any one knows hownto get it to work that would be awesome and I think level two could have potential

Apache Lander is definitely not impossible, it just takes a bit of practice. I can’t for the life of me figure out how they calculate the scores though.

I think it might have something to do with how quickly you land and how much gas you save, but I’m not sure as I never landed and deleted the game.

the trick for this game is just lando on the H zone, not at the left nor right, just in the H zone. and the score, well….just land softly! my highscore is 10052!

You did not even try properly..you held the phone up which uses all the gas..i have landed about 30 times with a high score of 9652..i am trying for over 1000 now that i saw JSprx,s score!!!well done
